HOW IT WORKS

Check-up

Routine appointments are the foundation of oral health prevention, helping to identify cavities, gum problems or other changes early, before they turn into more complex treatments. They usually include a general clinical assessment, which may be complemented with X-rays whenever our team considers it necessary. It is recommended that these appointments take place regularly, regardless of whether a problem is apparent, as part of ongoing care.

HOW IT WORKS

Implants

Losing a tooth affects chewing, speech and everyday confidence. A dental implant, a small titanium post placed in the jawbone, is a widely used solution to replace a missing tooth, restoring not only the visible crown but also the root of the lost tooth. After a healing period, the final crown is fitted onto the implant, with the aim of restoring the tooth’s function and appearance, always following a clinical assessment that confirms the most suitable treatment for each individual case.

HOW IT WORKS

Invisalign

Invisalign is a system of clear, removable aligners, designed as an alternative to traditional fixed braces, custom-made based on a digital plan of the expected tooth movement throughout treatment. Being removable, they allow you to maintain your usual oral hygiene routine without major changes, and being transparent, they are less noticeable day to day, making them an option for both simple corrections and cases requiring longer-term monitoring, with the aim of gradually improving dental alignment.

HOW IT WORKS

Veneers

Dental veneers are thin shells, usually made of porcelain or composite resin, applied to the visible surface of the tooth, indicated for correcting minor irregularities in shape, colour or alignment without the need for more complex procedures. The process includes an aesthetic planning stage, where shape and shade are discussed with the patient, followed by preparing the tooth and fitting the veneer. The result always depends on the clinical assessment of each case, carried out during a prior appointment with our team.

HOW IT WORKS

Crowns and Dentures

When a tooth is badly damaged or missing, crowns and dentures help restore function and shape to the dental arch, tooth by tooth. Crowns cover and protect a weakened or previously treated tooth, for example after root canal treatment, while dentures, fixed or removable, replace one or several missing teeth. Each solution is chosen based on each patient’s clinical situation, always following a detailed clinical assessment carried out by our team, according to that assessment.

HOW IT WORKS

Whitening

Teeth whitening is a treatment that aims to lighten the natural shade of the teeth through the clinically supervised application of a whitening agent by our team. It can be carried out in the clinic, for a faster process, or using custom-made trays for at-home use, always under clinical guidance. Before any whitening treatment, an oral health assessment is carried out, as this treatment may not be suitable in every case, particularly where there is untreated decay.

HOW IT WORKS

Fixed Braces

In addition to Invisalign, Smile Care offers traditional orthodontic solutions, such as fixed bimaxillary, aesthetic or self-ligating braces, suited to cases requiring more precise control of tooth movement throughout treatment. The choice between the different orthodontic options is made together with the patient, following a clinical assessment that takes into account age, case complexity and personal preferences, always with the aim of improving dental alignment over the course of treatment.

HOW IT WORKS

Extractions and Surgery

Oral surgery covers procedures such as simple extractions, more complex extractions (for example, wisdom teeth), and other minor surgical interventions in the oral cavity. Each procedure is preceded by a clinical assessment and, when necessary, X-rays, in order to plan the intervention safely. Our team also monitors the post-operative period, explaining the care needed in each situation, with the appropriate support from our clinical team throughout the process.

HOW IT WORKS

General Dentistry

General dentistry covers the most common everyday treatments, such as fillings, root canal treatments, and other care that doesn’t fall under a specific specialty. It is often the first point of contact for anyone looking to resolve a specific issue or who doesn’t yet have a diagnosis. During these appointments, our team assesses the situation and, whenever necessary, refers the patient to a more specialised area within the clinic itself, always taking each patient into account..

HOW IT WORKS

Gum Treatment

Gum health is just as important as tooth health, as it supports the entire structure of the dental arch. Periodontology treats problems related to the gums and supporting tissues, through procedures such as root planing and scaling or gingivectomy, indicated in specific cases. These treatments are relevant for anyone showing signs of inflammation or gum sensitivity, helping to prevent more advanced problems in the long run, depending on the clinical picture.
